November 13 - Learning Lab - Home Accessibility Design November 12 - Saltillo Training November 11-14 - Eleventh Annual Accessing Higher Ground: Accessible Media, Web, and Technology Conference. CU-Boulder hosted the conference, which focused on strategies for making campus media, course material, information resources, libraries, and Web pages accessible. November 5 - DynaVox Training October 24-25 - STEMapalooza. This two day event featured Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math programs for students and educators to create urgency and enthusiasm about the need for continuous and rigorous STEM education. October 15 - ATP hosted an Open House allowing visitors to see some of the many devices and equipment that are available for individuals with disabilities and the aging population to support independence at home, at work and in the community October 12-18 - Governor Ritter proclaimed this as Assistive Technology Awareness Week in the State of Colorado. With more than 70 sessions covering every aspect of assistive technology, this conference provided a great opportunity to learn from national and local experts as they discussed the latest devices and services, application and integration, future trends, legislation, funding strategies, evaluation and assessment. In this intensive workshop, participants learned a comprehensive approach to seating assessment and intervention for individuals with mild to severe postural and/or orthopedic impairment.
